Together with the Cultural Activities and Publications Service of the San Jorge University, we have created an agreement with Grupo Hierros Alfonso to promote the study of art and iron production throughout history. Our colleague Lourdes Diego is in charge of the chair, where a series of activities are planned for the next three courses. Among them is the creation of a national photography contest of ancient and contemporary artistic iron; the holding of conferences and colloquiums on artistic iron and the subsequent publication of a book or catalog about it; and a contest of urban furniture design with an exhibition at the School of Architecture and Technology of the USJ.
